Health & Safety

On the 8th of October our Head of Upper School, Mr. Edwards came to our lesson to lay down some health and safety rules. From this discussion with him we were told many aspects we had to acknowledge and rules we have to follow whilst we are filming. This included:

- Realising we are filming around 1900 other students. The school day can not be changed because we are filming, and must still run smoothly.

- Never leave the equipment unattended, as it is very expensive and could either be damaged or stolen.

- Stop filming 5 minutes before the school bell rings, as there will be a large exchange over of students and equipment could get in the way and be damaged.

- To be aware of any dangers of our locations we are choosing. For example, turning the gas taps on and the chemicals in the science labs.
